The devastation of the floods from Hurricane Irene is still fresh in the the minds of the Partners and employees at FMRTL based in Cranford, NJ. Being so close and witnessing the vast destruction to people's homes and lives from the extensive flooding in Cranford has led FMRTL to empathize deeply with the victims of Hurricane Sandy and therefore have been working hard to help all those in need.

FMRTL has joined up with Operation Jersey Shore Santa in an effort to help  many families at the Jersey Shore who lost their belongings and their homes. While FMRTL, along with numerous groups and organizations, is helping with the here & now needs of those who have been displaced, Operation Santa was created to bring the holidays to these families.

Many families are concentrating on rebuilding their homes and their lives, so Operation Jersey Shore Santa has stepped in and is striving to help lift some of the burden of bringing the holiday celebration to their children.  

FMRTL has collected a room full of items so far. A special thank you to the Evangel Church of Scotch Plains for their donation of 60 boxes of pre-sorted and marked clothing and The Jaycees of Cranford who have also donated the excess of their collection of gifts for their Santa Delivery Program.

Please drop off any donations to FMRTL by this coming Friday, December 14th. They will be loading a rented truck in the morning to bring all the items to the main headquarters.
